No Better Time than the Present!

When I first decided to start my website, I wanted to utilize the blog feature because i’d always been told I could write and I LOVE writing! Especially when I feel it adds to some sort of enrichment in people’s lives. But as many things go, life happened and I never was able to carve out the time to see how I wanted my blog to look on my “professional face.” So, it’s been a hot minute since this wonderful website was created by a dear client and as I was sitting in here changing up and adding a few things, the word blog just screamed at me. Again, another life peculiarity, spur the moment motivation to put down in print, or type, my thoughts on just going for it!

If you know me, you know life threw me around a little bit the last several years. It did it to a lot of people. But the one constant was my ability to write the goings on down and spin it in a way that would make even myself laugh. Back to that enrichment thing. When things get tough, we need our people. We need the laughs. We need what we need to just keep going. For me, writing and connecting with people over ridiculous stories about work or caring for my parents or that crazy wig I found on the sidewalk in front of the grocery store (like, how do you lose that) got me through and I’m grateful. It also brought some humor and coping to others dealing with tough things in their lives. And for that, grateful doesn’t begin to describe it.

Now, I don’t have aspirations to write the next great American novel. We all know I do not have the attention span for that. But I do aspire to write on the regular, whatever that looks like, and to bring some kind of comfort or at least a smile and hopefully, sometimes, a good belly laugh to someone’s day. And with that, I encourage you to find your thing, something that is unique to you, and share that beautiful light with the world. GO FOR IT!!!
